NMTC Compliance Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the New Markets Tax Credit program, the full-time NMTC Compliance Associate will monitor project health, ensure borrower compliance with reporting requirements, and provide administrative support while working in a hybrid environment across various locations including the Bay Area, LA, NYC metro, and South Florida.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for borrowers, managing ongoing reporting requirements and compliance documentation
• Prepare and submit accurate investor reports and analyze community impact survey results for stakeholders
• Provide administrative support to the NMTC team, including document management, scheduling, and process improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial or small business lending, loan administration, or nonprofit program support
• Ability to read financial statements and calculate basic financial ratios
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Salesforce or another CRM/database
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
