NOC Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the health of managed client systems, the remote NOC Engineer will focus on backup management, RMM alert remediation, and patching vulnerabilities while working business hours ET and participating in an after-hours escalation rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Triage and remediate failed backup jobs, ensuring compliance with backup standards and conducting regular audits
• Resolve RMM alerts by addressing root causes and maintaining device health across various systems
• Manage patching processes and remediate vulnerabilities, providing weekly compliance reports on findings

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an MSP or IT operations role
• Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and RMM alert remediation, preferably using NinjaOne
• Proficiency in Windows patch troubleshooting and vulnerability remediation
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Hyper-V/VMware, and basic networking concepts
• Ability to write clear documentation for tickets and client reports
