NOC Technician
Job Summary
Seeking motivated individuals, the full-time NOC Technician will monitor network, server, application, and security platforms, respond to alerts and outages, and coordinate resolution efforts while acting as the central communication point between support teams and business users.
Key responsibilities
- Actively monitor dashboards and alerts to identify and document issues and trends
- Maintain reporting on network data, including bandwidth usage and hardware utilization
- Collaborate with IT teams to establish troubleshooting protocols and resolve client network issues
Required qualifications
- Understanding of Active Directory, Windows OS, Office 365, Mac OS, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and the OSI Model
- Experience with ticketing systems and real-world technology support (internships acceptable)
- Ability to work weekends on a rotational basis
- Legal residency in one of the specified states is required
