NOC Technician
Job Summary
Seeking a part-time NOC Technician for the 2nd shift who will monitor network, server, application, and security platforms, respond to alerts and outages, and coordinate resolution efforts while serving as the central communication point between support teams and business users.
Key responsibilities
- Actively monitor various dashboards and alerts to identify and document issues and trends
- Maintain reporting of network data, including bandwidth usage and hardware utilization
- Bridge communication between IT teams and end users to facilitate issue resolution
Required qualifications
- Understanding of Active Directory, Windows OS, Office 365, Mac OS, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and the OSI Model
- Experience with ticketing systems and real-world technology support (internships accepted)
- Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space
- Legal residency in specified states is required
