NOC Technician
Job Summary
Monitoring and maintaining global data center ecosystems, the full-time NOC Technician will manage iboss monitoring systems, provision new points of presence, and respond to system faults during the 3rd shift hours of 11:00pm - 7:30am EST.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain iboss monitoring systems and respond to system/network faults
- Provision new points of presence or nodes and follow escalation procedures for critical events
- Create and maintain documentation related to global points of presence and procedures
Required qualifications
- 1 year of professional technical support or data center operations experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Windows/Sysadmin and basic understanding of the OSI model
- Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
- Linux experience (RHEL, CentOS, Debian, etc.)
