NOC Tier 1 Technician
Job Summary
To support a 24/7 Network Operations Center, the full-time NOC Tier 1 Technician will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve customer network issues involving broadband circuits, routers, and VoIP, while working remotely with a preference for candidates in Holland, OH.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor automated systems and troubleshoot basic to mid-level network issues
- Document all troubleshooting steps and coordinate with on-site technicians and service providers
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 Technicians and ensure timely resolution of tickets
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in IT support, networking, or customer service
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including OSI Model and TCP/IP
- Entry-level certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+) are a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
