Job Summary

Participating in a structured experiential learning opportunity, the part-time Non-Clinical Extern will observe mentors and engage in various projects to gain exposure to the managed care industry while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Observe processes and shadow mentors to gain hands-on experience in the managed care field
• Follow instructions and procedures provided by mentors or managers in accordance with company guidelines
• Participate in applied learning activities to support academic learning objectives and career development

Required qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an educational program (high school, accredited college, university, or professional program)
• Must receive course credit or fulfill an educational requirement for their curriculum
• Interest in gaining exposure to the managed care industry
