Job Summary
Supporting Non-Linguistic QC activities for translation projects in the Life Sciences domain, the freelance Non-Linguistic QC Specialist will perform quality assurance checks on translations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client-specific requirements while working remotely with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Non-Linguistic Quality Control of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content
- Use CAT tools and run QC checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Validate formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and adherence to instructions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months QC/QA-related experience in the localization industry
- Familiarity with CAT tools (XTM/Phrase) and QA checks tools (Xbench, Verifika)
- Advanced level in English (C1 or above)
- Availability of 4-5 hours per day with flexibility for occasional weekends and bank holidays
- Able to meet urgent TATs (12-24 hours) and manage many small files
