Job Summary
To support nonprofit leaders in their growth, the part-time Volunteer Mentor for the UpTide Accelerator will engage in twice-monthly meetings with a matched nonprofit leader, providing guidance on strategic planning, communications, revenue generation, and grant writing while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct twice-monthly 30-minute meetings with a matched nonprofit leader from January through April 2027
- Provide guidance on strategic planning, communications, revenue generation, and grant writing
- Complete monthly surveys and maintain timely communication with the SEED SPOT team
Required Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit leadership, philanthropy, strategic planning, or grant writing
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or advising leaders
- Strong interpersonal skills to listen, encourage, and provide feedback
- Reliable and communicative to sustain a consistent relationship over the program duration
- Genuine interest in supporting nonprofit leaders addressing community challenges
