Job Summary
To support early literacy, mathematics, and social-emotional development initiatives, the full-time Early Education Charter Consultant will manage project components, provide technical assistance, and deliver professional development remotely across North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Support the identification, development, and implementation of early education programs aligned with state standards
- Collect and analyze data to inform and enhance early education efforts at regional and district levels
- Collaborate with various educational systems to build capacity for statewide early education initiatives
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution
- Four years of relevant experience in public education
- Knowledge of federal and state laws related to early education and Read to Achieve
- Experience with evidence-informed literacy practices aligned with the Science of Reading
- Proven ability to conduct professional development both virtually and in-person
