North Carolina GIS Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting the GIS team remotely, the Mid-Level North Carolina GIS Specialist will manage geospatial analysis, data management, and ArcGIS platform administration while ensuring accessibility compliance for applications and content.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the ArcGIS Online environment, including user accounts and permissions
- Perform GIS analysis and develop interactive web maps and applications using ArcGIS tools
- Audit GIS applications for accessibility issues and implement WCAG-aligned improvements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online administration
- Minimum 4 years of experience in ArcGIS Enterprise administration and server management
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Survey123, Field Maps, and Experience Builder
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Arcade and Python scripting
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG and ADA compliance
