North Carolina Licensed ABA Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a temporary revenue cycle project, the remote North Carolina Licensed ABA Billing Specialist will manage billing documentation, resolve submission barriers, and submit accurate claims while working approximately 40 hours per week for about three months.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate, and submit ABA therapy claims using CentralReach and applicable clearinghouse systems
• Resolve rejected or unsubmitted claims and document follow-up activities accurately
• Track daily claim submission volume and provide regular project status updates to Revenue Cycle leadership

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of medical billing experience
• At least 2 years of ABA therapy billing experience
• Experience with CentralReach billing functions
• Strong knowledge of ABA CPT codes and payer billing requirements
• Experience managing high-volume claim submission workloads
