North Carolina Licensed Controller
Job Summary
Leading a growing accounting team, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Controller will oversee the close, consolidation, and internal controls while implementing a NetSuite ERP system in a hybrid work environment with in-office days from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
Key responsibilities
- Manage multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, and corporate cost allocations
- Lead the implementation of NetSuite ERP, ensuring reliable data for financial reporting
- Oversee the accounting integration of acquired businesses and maintain strong cash controls
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing leadership responsibility
- CPA certification and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition and business combinations
- Experience in multi-location, service-based, or high-growth organizations with $50M+ in revenue
- Hands-on experience with audit preparation, lender reporting, and M&A diligence
