North Carolina Licensed Nocturnist
Job Summary
To support the delivery of virtual inpatient care, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Nocturnist will manage synchronous and asynchronous telehealth visits, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and oversee remote patient monitoring in a telecommuting role.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct virtual admissions and discharges while performing clinical rounding
- Provide emergency response as a virtual first-responder when requested by onsite staff
- Collaborate with onsite multidisciplinary teams in both closed and open ICU environments
Required qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
- Active North Carolina Medical License (or ability to obtain); South Carolina Medical License preferred
- Experience in hospital medicine and comfort with telehealth platforms
- Ability to communicate effectively in a virtual environment
- Experience working in a telehealth/virtual care setting preferred
