Job Summary
To support the Duke Women's Health Menopause Specialty Clinic, the part-time North Carolina Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide evidence-based care, patient education, and counseling for menopause-related health concerns, primarily through telehealth with potential in-person clinic visits in Wake and/or Durham counties.
Key responsibilities
- Manage evaluation, treatment, and education for patients experiencing common and complex menopause-related issues
- Provide gynecological care, including routine screenings and treatment for common concerns as needed
- Collaborate with a team of OB/GYN physicians for mentorship and clinical oversight
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina and national certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of two years of experience in Women's Health
- Experience managing midlife Women's Health concerns
- BLS certification required
