Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated North Carolina Licensed Oncology Nurse Navigator, the full-time hybrid position will manage patient care coordination, facilitate treatment plans, and provide education and resources throughout the cancer care journey.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate timely coordination of appointments, diagnostic testing, and procedures for oncology patients
- Provide individualized assistance to patients and families, ensuring informed decision-making and access to quality care
- Assess patients' health practices and compliance with treatment plans, documenting findings and coordinating necessary referrals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school, or an ADN with a commitment to obtain a BSN within specified timeframes
- Current North Carolina Registered Nurse licensure
- OCN or ONN certification required within three years of hire
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, including one year in oncology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
