North Carolina Licensed Sox Manager
Job Summary
Owning the SOX and internal controls program, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Sox Manager will build and maintain documentation, run testing, and ensure compliance with PCAOB standards while working onsite in Raleigh.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain the SOX 404 / ICFR program, including process narratives and risk-and-control matrices
- Run annual scoping and materiality analysis for key financial processes and IT general controls
- Test key controls for effectiveness, document results, and collaborate with process owners for remediation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Active CPA certification
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in public accounting audit
- Strong knowledge of SOX 404, ICFR, COSO 2013 framework, and PCAOB standards
- Experience designing, documenting, and testing internal controls
