Job Summary
To support commercial nuclear projects, the contract Sr. Estimator will develop detailed cost estimates and budgets, analyze project documentation, and participate in design reviews while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for bids and awarded projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation, and perform value engineering and constructability reviews
- Oversee projects under construction to learn actual methods and costs of field operations
Required qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of estimating experience, including nuclear construction projects of moderate to high complexity
- Strong knowledge of nuclear construction practices, project controls, and cost management
- Experience with estimating software such as InEight (Hard Dollar) or similar tools
- Preferred: RICS or AACE accreditation (or in progress) and commercial nuclear experience
