North Carolina Licensed Therapist
Job Summary
To support the mental health needs of the LGBTQIA+ community, a fully licensed therapist/counselor (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT) in North Carolina will provide individual telehealth therapy on a remote contract basis, with a minimum commitment of 10 sessions per week and flexible scheduling, while delivering affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy in a telehealth setting to LGBTQIA+ clients, utilizing trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment
- Conduct clinical assessments and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EMR system
- Participate in regular clinical supervision to support professional development toward full independent licensure
Required qualifications
- Active North Carolina license as an LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT
- Experience and passion for working with LGBTQIA+ clients
- Cultural competence in delivering affirming, identity-centered care
- Comfort in providing individual therapy in a telehealth environment
- Able to commit to a minimum of 10 sessions per week with flexible scheduling
