Job Summary
To support the Foster Care Department, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Training Specialist will recruit, train, and license foster parents while ensuring compliance with state and agency policies, working in a hybrid remote environment with occasional evening or weekend commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and assess potential foster parents, guiding them through the licensing process
- Provide ongoing training and supervision to licensed foster parents, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements
- Engage in public speaking and marketing efforts to attract families for foster care placements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Valid Driver's License and compliance with credentialing standards as a Qualified Professional in North Carolina
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to pass a drug screening test and extensive background check
