North Carolina Licensed Training Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Foster Care Department, the full-time hybrid North Carolina Licensed Training Specialist will recruit, train, and license foster parents while ensuring compliance with state and agency policies and providing ongoing support to maintain placements.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit and train potential foster parents, providing pre-service training and guiding them through the licensing process
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of potential foster parents to ensure compliance with state and agency standards
- Maintain documentation and provide quarterly supervision and assessments to licensed foster parents, collaborating with the foster care coordinator
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Valid Driver's License and meet credentialing standards as a Qualified Professional in North Carolina
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Successful completion of a drug screening test and extensive background check
