Job Summary
Offering a unique opportunity, a North Carolina Licensed Veterinarian will provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in a part-time or full-time capacity, allowing for self-managed schedules and a focus on meaningful interactions with clients and their pets in the Charlotte area.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver gentle end-of-life care and in-home euthanasia for pets, ensuring a peaceful experience for families
- Manage a flexible schedule with 2 to 5 appointments per day, allowing ample time for client interactions
- Collaborate with a supportive team, utilizing mentorship and resources to enhance professional growth
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
- Willingness to choose weekend shifts that align with personal schedules
- Completion of license verification, background check, and driving record review prior to start date
