Job Summary
Leading financial and actuarial strategies for large client assignments, the full-time Health and Benefits Financial/Actuarial Senior Director will leverage expertise to provide strategic recommendations, drive revenue growth, and develop innovative financial solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Communicates complex financial and actuarial concepts to drive client action and improve plan performance
- Leads financial and actuarial engagements for medium to large clients and develops tailored strategies
- Guides regional and global teams on deliverables while ensuring quality in client delivery of financial and actuarial services
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in health and welfare financial/actuarial strategies in a consulting or brokerage environment
- Proven ability to generate revenue and grow client relationships
- Deep understanding of employee benefit plan design, underwriting, and funding concepts
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
- Actuarial designation and current continuing education (optional)
