Job Summary
Supervising a team of Investigations Supervisors, the full-time remote North Carolina Program Manager will oversee investigations of child maltreatment and violations of child care requirements, ensuring compliance with state regulations and effective collaboration with various agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide oversight of investigations related to child maltreatment and regulatory compliance in child care facilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of Investigations Team Supervisors and a Lead Investigations Consultant
- Develop and monitor corrective action plans and recommend training for child care operators to prevent maltreatment
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field and three years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience
- Experience in child care regulations and child maltreatment investigations
- Proven supervisory experience in managing projects and staff
- Ability to interpret laws and rules related to child care programs and requirements
- Skilled in establishing effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including state and local agencies
