Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time hourly ACCESS Provider Services Specialist will assist providers with inquiries related to claims, contracts, authorizations, and benefits while ensuring high-quality customer service and documentation of all interactions.
Key responsibilities
- Handle telephonic requests from network providers, providing information and support related to services and resources
- Document all calls and interactions in the electronic information system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist in specialized projects and reviews as directed by management, contributing to departmental goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field and at least two years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with four years of experience in a similar setting
- Must be qualified as a North Carolina Qualified Professional according to 10A NCAC 27G .0104
- Knowledge of MH/SU/DD service array and Medicaid requirements
- Experience in network management or a related role in the health care industry is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively
