North Carolina RN Operating Room Scheduler

Job Summary

To optimize surgical scheduling, the full-time North Carolina RN Operating Room Scheduler will manage daily OR schedules, collaborate with the perioperative team, and ensure efficient patient flow while working on-site for the first six months with potential for hybrid or remote work thereafter.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and build the OR schedule in collaboration with surgeons and nursing leaders
• Lead scheduling meetings and analyze the schedule for efficiency and productivity
• Complete necessary documentation and verify critical elements of OR case requests

Required qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program
• Current registration as a registered professional nurse in North Carolina or compact RN licensure
• Previous operating room experience is required, with 2+ years preferred
• BLS certification is required; professional specialty certification is preferred
• Knowledge of perioperative patient care and nursing processes
