Job Summary
Contributing to BWR fuel reload licensing and cycle management, the full-time Nuclear Fuel Engineer will provide innovative design solutions, engage with utility customers, and collaborate with a high-performing team while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Apply analytical methods to solve complex problems related to reactor cores and reload licensing
- Prepare and present technical data to both internal and external customers
- Manage reload projects and ensure compliance with NRC regulations and customer requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, physics, or a related science field from an accredited university
- Experience with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) technology
- Familiarity with BWR core simulators and 3-Dimensional neutron kinetics codes
- Programming experience with Python or C#
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment
