Job Summary
Providing regulatory and technical support for major nuclear facility initiatives, the contract Nuclear Licensing Engineer will work remotely to interface with regulatory agencies, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with nuclear licensing and environmental requirements over a 12-month period.
Key responsibilities
- Support engineering project teams in licensing activities and regulatory compliance
- Interface with regulatory agencies and coordinate with industry organizations
- Assist in resolving complex regulatory and environmental issues
Required qualifications
- Experience in nuclear licensing and regulatory affairs
- Background in a Department of Energy (DOE) or Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulated environment
- Knowledge of engineering principles and regulatory compliance practices
- Experience providing licensing support and guidance on regulatory matters
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
