Nutrition Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To support a growing Nutrition program, the part-time Nutrition Adjunct Faculty will teach up to 3 courses per term in a remote environment, providing a student-centered learning experience and maintaining engagement with students through effective communication and timely feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in synchronous or asynchronous seminars while fostering an inclusive learning environment
• Maintain virtual office hours and manage electronic correspondence with students and faculty
• Participate in professional development and faculty governance as needed, while ensuring compliance with student conduct policies

Required qualifications

• Relevant Master's Degree or equivalent professional credentials (e.g., Certified Nutrition Specialist, Registered Dietitian)
• Three years of professional experience, with 1-3 years of online teaching experience preferred
• Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Brightspace education software
• Dedication to student success and the ability to engage and inspire students
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision
