Nutrition Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To support the academic program, the part-time Nutrition Adjunct Faculty will deliver a 3-credit hour Food Systems Management course through asynchronous distance learning while maintaining regular interactions with students and ensuring compliance with university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver course content and assess student learning through examinations and feedback
• Maintain regular office hours and provide academic advising to support student development
• Ensure all course materials are prepared and posted two weeks in advance of delivery

Required qualifications

• RDN-degree or an advanced degree with documented subject-matter expertise and/or professional certification
• Knowledge and experience to effectively teach assigned courses in the department
• Effective presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing teaching environments and assist students of varying skill levels
• Basic computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet use
