NY Licensed DBT Therapist

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time NY Licensed DBT Therapist will provide individual DBT and skills group therapy to adolescent clients while utilizing digital tools to enhance therapy outcomes and promote skill integration.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual DBT therapy and facilitate skills groups via live video sessions
• Assign and monitor DBT-relevant digital lessons and activities for clients between sessions
• Participate in weekly consultation meetings and collaborate with a team of DBT providers

Required qualifications

• Unrestricted, active New York license to practice independently without supervision
• Formal training in DBT, including experience with individual therapy and skills groups
• Minimum one year of experience providing comprehensive DBT to adolescents
• Experience in telehealth therapy services is preferred
• Willingness to obtain cross-licensing in additional states as needed
