Job Summary
To support a growing virtual obesity medicine clinic, the full-time Obesity Medicine Physician licensed in AL, FL, GA, IN, KY, MI, MS, NC, OH, SC, or TN will provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity, collaborate with a care team, and participate in after-hours call schedules while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management
- Develop treatment plans and provide medical management support for complex cases
- Ensure adherence to clinical documentation and protocols while participating in quality improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree with board certification; ABOM diplomate or board certified in Endocrinology
- Licensed to practice and prescribe in AL, FL, GA, IN, KY, MI, MS, NC, OH, SC, or TN
- Must hold a Letter of Qualification (LOQ) with the IMLC
- Prior experience conducting telemedicine visits with a strong "web-side" manner
- Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred
