Observability Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the Langfuse observability platform, the full-time Observability Platform Engineer will manage configuration, upgrades, and platform strategy while working remotely with a required overlap of 14:00-17:00 GMT.
Key responsibilities
- Decide on and review the platform's features, tenancy model, and data defaults
- Track and evaluate upstream releases, configuring and testing new capabilities before deployment
- Assess and recommend additional or replacement backends based on evolving requirements
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with an observability or developer-tooling product, preferably Langfuse
- Configuration and administration skills for self-hosted software at organizational scale
- Understanding of telemetry data models, including OpenTelemetry conventions
- Familiarity with LLM application architecture and its implications for data usage
- Experience in technology evaluation and data governance practices
