Observability Strategist
Job Summary
As a full-time remote Observability Strategist, the successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise organizations, partnering with C-suite executives and engineering leaders to transform observability practices and enhance system reliability and operational efficiency using the Dynatrace Software Intelligence Platform.
Key responsibilities
- Translate complex telemetry data into actionable business insights and conduct maturity assessments for enterprise monitoring practices
- Architect observability strategies for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring standardization of data ingestion practices
- Assist clients in building Observability Centers of Excellence and collaborate with internal teams to integrate client insights into product strategy
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, software engineering, or enterprise IT advisory
- 3+ years focused on observability, APM, AIOps, or SRE practices at enterprise scale
- Expert-level knowledge of metrics, logs, traces, and open standards like OpenTelemetry
- Hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes, serverless architecture, and multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong proficiency with the Dynatrace ecosystem or comparable enterprise platforms
