Occupational Safety Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary

To develop and teach online courses in Occupational Safety and Environmental Technology, the part-time Adjunct Instructor will maintain current knowledge in the field, create engaging coursework, and assess student performance through various instructional methods.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and delivers course content while maintaining an appropriate learning environment
• Provides clear syllabi, assignment instructions, and timely feedback to students
• Administers assessments, including comprehensive final exams, to measure student understanding of course objectives

Required qualifications

• Associate Degree in a relevant field
• Technical training, certification, or experience in Occupational Safety and Environmental Technology
• Willingness to teach various courses and adapt to different delivery methods
• Ability to prepare adequately for classes and engage with students effectively
• Experience in maintaining academic integrity and fostering a positive learning environment
