Occupational Safety Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Occupational Safety Instructor, the adjunct role will deliver online courses, maintain up-to-date industry knowledge, and support student achievement through effective teaching and assessment methods.

Key responsibilities

• Maintains current knowledge in the field and utilizes various delivery methods for distance education
• Prepares and delivers course material, including assessments and syllabi, while fostering a supportive learning environment
• Addresses student inquiries and provides advisement on degree plans and applications in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Safety & Health Technology with ten years of safety experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Safety & Health with five years of safety experience
• Experience in teaching in a computer-based environment
• Teaching experience at the college level, or relevant work experience in lieu of teaching experience
