Occupational Therapist Contractor

Job Summary

To support a growing educational practice, the full-time Occupational Therapist Contractor will screen, assess, and treat students with fine motor and sensory processing challenges, ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Programs while working remotely across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address sensory-motor integrative dysfunction and develop treatment plans aligned with educational goals
• Collaborate with IEP teams, parents, and school staff to ensure the implementation of occupational therapy services and maintain compliance with state regulations
• Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings to communicate findings and recommendations

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a public school environment
• Occupational Therapist licensure in at least one state
• Ability to work independently with at least 20 hours of availability during typical school hours
• Familiarity with assistive technology and online/virtual teaching environments
• Strong organizational and time management skills
