Job Summary
Serving as the primary escalation point for complex OFAC screening alerts, the full-time remote OFAC Sanctions Screening Analyst II will review and resolve high-risk cases, conduct advanced investigations, and provide guidance to junior team members while ensuring compliance with OFAC regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Review and resolve escalated OFAC screening alerts involving customers and transactions against various sanctions lists
- Conduct advanced investigations and enhanced due diligence research to resolve ambiguous matches
- Provide guidance to junior Analysts and coordinate with senior management on confirmed matches and necessary actions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in OFAC sanctions compliance or screening operations
- Banking or financial services experience
- CAMS or CGSS certification preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of OFAC sanctions regulations and excellent analytical skills
