Job Summary
To support the development of high-quality educational content, the remote Ohio Licensed Academic Designer will plan and create curriculum materials for PreK-K literacy programs, collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with educational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and develop content including learning objectives, lessons, and resources for both print and digital formats
- Assist in creating prototypes, guidelines, and project documentation as needed
- Act as a liaison among vendors, internal teams, and Academic Design teams to ensure project success
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in elementary education, literacy, linguistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in literacy curriculum development and educational publishing focused on Grades PreK-K
- Subject matter expertise in foundational literacy skills and knowledge of relevant content standards
- Understanding of digital learning tools and accessibility practices
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and digital authoring systems
