Job Summary
To support a high-volume client portfolio, the full-time Ohio Licensed Accounting Manager will oversee delivery of accounting engagements, manage team performance, and serve as the primary client contact while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own timely and accurate delivery across a portfolio of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting engagements
- Review and approve financial statements, workpaper packages, and oversee budget management for the portfolio
- Supervise and coach a team of 4-8 members, enhancing team capability and performance through feedback and training
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; required
- 5-8 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a review capacity; required
- CPA or CMA; preferred
- Experience with financial statement preparation or compilation engagements; required
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero; required
