Job Summary
To support a growing actuarial team, the full-time Ohio Licensed Actuarial Consultant will lead the preparation and analysis of loss reserves, perform quarterly and annual reserve reviews, and identify opportunities for process optimization while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity based on proximity to Westfield Center, OH.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the preparation and analysis of loss and loss adjustment expense reserves using actuarial methods
- Performs quarterly and annual reserve reviews, documenting key assumptions and communicating findings to management
- Identifies opportunities to streamline and automate the reserving process to improve efficiency and data quality
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Actuarial or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) certification is required
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) certification is preferred
