Ohio Licensed Bridge Engineer
Job Summary
Leading complex bridge and transportation structure projects, the full-time Ohio Licensed Bridge Engineer will manage design and delivery from planning through construction support, working remotely within Ohio or surrounding states.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of bridge projects, ensuring compliance with structural integrity and regulatory standards
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including structural calculations and bridge plans
- Oversee project teams and collaborate with various engineering disciplines and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in bridge engineering or transportation structures
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio
- Experience with highway bridges, pedestrian bridges, and related transportation structures
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and state DOT standards
