Job Summary

To support the claims process for bodily injury and uninsured/underinsured claims, the full-time remote Ohio Licensed Claim Specialist will review and analyze injury claims, conduct thorough investigations, and negotiate settlements while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze injury claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages
• Conduct thorough investigations by gathering relevant information and interviewing involved parties
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and document all claim activities accurately

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Successful completion of required training, including proficiency and licensing exams
• Ability to handle difficult and emotional conversations with empathy
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in multi-tasking across technical platforms
