Ohio Licensed Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Investigating and settling insurance claims, the full-time remote Ohio Licensed Claims Adjuster will evaluate pet medical histories, verify policy coverage, and determine compensation amounts.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and review pet medical histories in collaboration with veterinary hospitals and policyholders
• Investigate, process, and verify assigned insurance claims, including coverage and compensation amounts
• Update Explanation of Benefits (EOB), manage claim payments, and close claims as necessary

Required qualifications:

• 1 year of relevant experience working in a veterinary clinic
• Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience, or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
• Must have and maintain an Adjuster's license or obtain one within 90 days of hire
