Job Summary
To support a growing Consumer Financial Services practice, the fully remote Ohio Licensed Consumer Financial Attorney will manage a diverse caseload involving commercial litigation, including foreclosures and trial preparation, while providing legal counsel and representation to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of commercial litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs while conducting legal research on complex disputes
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, advising on risk assessment and litigation strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Must be admitted to the Ohio Bar and in good standing
- 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with experience in consumer financial services litigation preferred
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
