Job Summary
Seeking an Ohio Licensed In-Home Veterinarian, the full-time position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate in-home pet hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services throughout Columbus and surrounding areas, allowing for professional autonomy and meaningful relationships with pet families.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services
- Independently travel to scheduled appointments and practice effectively in a mobile veterinary care environment
- Educate and guide pet families through quality-of-life decisions and the euthanasia process with empathy and professionalism
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), BVMS, or equivalent veterinary medical degree
- Active veterinary license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain one
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments
- Comfortable working independently as a mobile veterinarian
- Availability for rotational weekend scheduling as required
