Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist

Job Summary

The remote, full-time Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist will support the educational and behavioral goals of students, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs, by collaborating with teachers, conducting assessments, and facilitating IEP meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to assist in classroom intervention strategies and modify curricula as necessary
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and facilitate IEP meetings while writing IEP goals and objectives
• Utilize research-based best practices in planning and instruction, integrating culturally responsive teaching methods

Required qualifications

• Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License (preferred)
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
• Experience working in a multi-cultural setting (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)
