Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist, the remote position will support the educational and behavioral goals of students, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs, while collaborating with teachers and facilitating IEP meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to assist in intervention strategies and modify curricula as necessary
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and facilitate IEP meetings, writing goals and objectives for students
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction to enhance student achievement

Required qualifications

• Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)
• Experience working in a multi-cultural setting (preferred)
