Ohio Licensed Laboratory Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Assisting the LIS Manager with daily operations, the full-time Ohio Licensed Laboratory Systems Analyst will ensure the smooth integration of the laboratory information system into departmental workflows while providing hardware and software support remotely, with occasional onsite presence as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the laboratory information system and its integration into workflows
• Assist with the Soft Path module, including AP, Molecular, and Cytogenetics, and maintain LIS hardware and interfaces
• Provide 24x7 coverage and collaborate with the LIS Administrator on system modifications and maintenance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; Master's degree is preferred
• Certification as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist with ASCP is required
• 0 to 2 years of experience in laboratory medicine is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required
• Experience in healthcare is preferred
