Ohio Licensed Oncology Staff Nurse

Job Summary

To support oncology patients through remote care, the full-time Ohio Licensed Oncology Staff Nurse will manage telephone assessments, triage calls, and coordinate nursing care while ensuring positive patient outcomes and adherence to established protocols.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and provide nursing care to patients and their families, directing care provided by the patient care team
• Conduct initial call assessments and triage calls based on established algorithms
• Document assessments and management of calls in the electronic medical record and assist with post-discharge follow-ups

Required qualifications:

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program
• Current Ohio RN license or interim permit
• Preferred 2 years of experience in a relevant care setting, with a focus on oncology or triage
• Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) is preferred
• Demonstrated computer skills to meet job functions
